Chen is a hand physiotherapist providing expert assessment and treatment in hand, wrist and elbow conditions. Graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy), Chen commenced her hand therapy career at Sydney Hospital Hand Unit and Sydney Children’s Hospital where she developed her expertise in creating customised splints and casts for both adult and paediatric patients.
Chen has a decade of experience in treating a wide range of hand conditions, including wrist pain, arthritis, overuse injuries, hand fractures and dislocations, and complex hand trauma. She has held the internationally recognised Certified Hand Therapist (USA) credential since 2019 and is an Accredited Hand Therapist awarded by the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA).
Chen was born in China and consults in English, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
